The Coolpix P80 is a digital camera produced by Nikon. It was introduced in Spring 2008. Its image sensor is a CCD with 10.1 million pixels. It has a 2.7-inch (69 mm) thin-film transistor liquid crystal display device with 230,000 pixels. The P80 comes with 18x optical zoom NIKKOR lens with VR optical image stabilization. Image processor provides several features including: Face-priority AF, in-camera Red-Eye fix, D-lighting, Backlight and Panorama assist.

This camera can be used to record video in AVI-format and audio in WAV-format.

Interface is standard USB port. It can be used to connect camera directly to printer that supports PictBridge interface.

Video output can be selected between NTSC and PAL.

Completely charged battery is sufficient to take approximately 250 shots.

In March 2009 this model was replaced by the Nikon Coolpix P90 featuring a 12-Mpixels image sensor and a 24x Zoom lens.
