Nishant or Nishanth is a common Indian male given name derived from the Sanskrit name for dawn or the end of night. In Sanskrit Nishaa (निशा) means "Night" and Anta (अन्त) means "End", which can be alliterated as the end of night or the first ray of the morning sun.
