Noah Fant is an American football tight end. He currently plays college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

College career

During his sophomore season at Iowa, Fant tied the national lead for touchdowns by tight ends with 11, and led the nation in yards per catch, averaging 16.5.[1] Fant's 11 touchdown receptions set a school record for touchdown catches by a tight end.[2] Fant's efforts garnered him Third Team All Big Ten honors for the 2017 season.

Prior to the 2018 season, Fant was named a preseason All American.[3]

Personal life

On May 25, 2017, Fant was threatened by a handgun in a public park in Omaha. The man who threatened him, Matthew Trimble, was charged with making terroristic threats and having a gun in a public place.[4]
