Dame Norma Jean Restieaux, DBE is a New Zealand physician, medical researcher, cardiologist and author.

She authored or co-authored the following:

  • IDL Composition and Angiographically Determined Progression of Atherosclerotic Lesions During Simvastatin Therapy
  • Clinical outcome of older patients with acute coronary syndrome over the last three decades (Age Ageing 2006 35: 280-285; doi:10.1093/ageing/afj079)

Honours

She was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1992.[1]

Academia

She is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand.
