Northampton is a neighborhood in Hampton, Virginia located in the mid-western section the town. Northampton was known in the 1970s also home of one of the oldest little league baseball league besides Foxhill. Northampton has a large amount of houses apartment complexes schools and shopping centers. The school includes Forrest Elementary School (formally Bethel Elementary School), Tucker-capps Elementary School, Phoenix preK-8, Jefferson Davis Middle School, and Bethel High School. It is also home to the "Northampton Bruins" a little league football and baseball team (the mascot and colors were adopted from Bethel High School).
