The northern nightingale-wren (Microcerculus philomela) is a species of passerine bird in the Troglodytidae family. It is found in Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
