Nová Pec (German: Neuofen) is a village and municipality (obec) in Prachatice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 66.38 square kilometres (25.63 sq mi), and has a population of 582 (as at 28 August 2006).

Nová Pec lies approximately 29 kilometres (18 mi) south of Prachatice, 48 km (30 mi) south-west of České Budějovice, and 152 km (94 mi) south of Prague.
