Fictional character biography

Numinus is a cosmic entity claiming to be the living embodiment of "numinosity" (compare noumenon, numinous), with the character's purpose to show sentient beings the wonder of the universe.

Numinus appeared before the Power Pack as they travelled through space back to the planet Earth. She was able to convince them to save a race of aliens from another group of attacking aliens.[1]

Groot is attempting to rescue his friend Rocket Raccoon and is assembling a varied assortment of characters from across the galaxy that he meets along the way including Numinus as well as some Skrulls to help him in his efforts. She reveals that one of her powers is to enhance the powers that another being already possesses. It is not clear if she somehow deeply reminds them of their powers so they can use them to their full potential or if she somehow enhances their powers by her own presence or powers.[2]
