Nqobile Nunu Khumalo (born 15 April 1992), is a South African actress and model.[1] She is best known for her roles in the television serials Isibaya, Soul City and Scandal!.[2]

Personal life

She was born on 15 April 1992 at Mpumalanga, South Africa to a Siswati family. When she was two months old, her family moved to Johannesburg. In 2012, she attended to St Mary's Diocesan School for Girls, Pretoria for her secondary education. Then she joined the Midrand Graduate Institute and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.[2]

Career

In 2013, she made her maiden television appearance in the first season of popular television series Isibaya. In the series, she played the role 'Cindy'. In 2016, she played the role of 'Hlengiwe Twala', in the eTV drama series Scandal!.[3] Later she won an International Award as the Best African Actress by New Vision International Film Festival, held at Amsterdam in the Netherlands, 2019 for the role.[4][5]

Then she acted in the television series Soul City where she played the popular role 'Relebogile “Riri’’ Diholo'.[2][6]
