Nzxt (stylized as NZXT.) is a computer component manufacturer based in Los Angeles, California. The company is best known for being a major manufacturer of computer cases, components, and accessories for the low-end PC enthusiasts market,[1] however they have been increasing their target in the high end market which is dominated by competitors such as Antec and Lian Li.

The name NZXT is a corruption of the word "next" in uppercase.[2]

History

NZXT was founded in 2004 by Johnny Hou. They specialise in ATX mid tower and full tower cases, as well as accessories such as computer cooling and power systems. While their products are designed in Los Angeles, the large-scale manufacturing takes place in plants in China and Taiwan.

Products

The company's first product was the NZXT Guardian, which features a plastic front bezel resembling Transformers toys and lighting effects.[3] Over time, they gradually expanded to other genres of computer hardware,[4] including computer power supplies,[5] computer cooling, and streaming devices.[6][7]
