Obrana národa (ON) (English: Defending the Nation) was a Czech military anti-Nazi resistance organization[1] that existed from 1939 to 1945. It carried out resistance activities in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. The idea came from the general Josef Bílý, who organised the group 1939 and became the first chief of it.
