Occupation Double

Occupation Double (sometimes referenced as OD) is a Canadian French language reality show that started in 2003. It is broadcast by TVA and was the main competitor of the Quebec incarnation of Loft Story.^[1] Ultimately, it was more financially successful than its direct competition. A second edition of the show was aired in 2004 and a third edition aired in the fall of 2006. After yet another successful fourth edition in 2007, a fifth edition took place in 2008, also on TVA.

The sixth edition of Occupation Double premiered on September 27, 2009. Things changed that season, in that for the first time, the entirety of the show took place in a foreign country (Dominican Republic). The 7th season took place in Whistler, British Columbia. The 8th season took place in Portugal, the 9th season in the United States mostly in California and the 10th and final season took place in Spain and French Polynesia.^[2]
