Odontopterygiformes

Odontopterygiformes is a proposed order of birds to include Pelagornithidae. Its exact placement is unknown.

While the only family often placed here is Pelagornithidae, recent evidence suggests that group might actually be made of several distinct ones. A version of this is listed below:

Pseudodontornidae type:Pseudodontornis

Odontopterygidae type: Odontopteryx


Please note that Pelagornithidae, not Odontopterygidae, is the type of this order.
