Of Men and War (French: Des hommes et de la guerre) is a 2014 documentary film directed by Laurent Bécue-Renard. It explores the psychological trauma of war experienced by a group of American Afghanistan and Iraq veterans. The men are all clients of The Pathway Home, a residential treatment program then based at the Veterans Home in Yountville, CA, the primary filming location.[1][2] It was presented in the Special Screenings section at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival.[3] The film won the VPRO IDFA Award for Best Feature-Length Documentary at the 2014 International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam.[4] It was nominated for the European Film Award for Best Documentary at the 27th European Film Awards and screened at the Museum of Modern Art's Documentary Fortnight.[5][6]

The Pathway Home suspended its operations indefinitely and its clients were placed with other programs after three staff members were killed in a 2018 murder-suicide.[7][8]
