Oil crisis may refer to:

  • 1970s energy crisis
    • 1973 oil crisis, the first oil crisis. In this crisis prices increased 400%.
    • 2nd oil crisis, of 1979. This time prices increased 100%.
    • 3rd oil crisis, of 1990, in which prices were increased for 9 months. This oil shock is also called the mini-oil-shock.
    • 1979 energy crisis
