The Oita salamander (Hynobius dunni) is a species of salamander in the family Hynobiidae endemic to Japan.[1] Named after Oita Prefecture, its natural habitats are temperate forests, rivers, intermittent rivers, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, and irrigated land in western Japan.[2] It is threatened by habitat loss.
