Olgerd Bochkovsky(1885 - 1939) was a famous Ukrainian sociologist. He was the first scientist to undertake the effort to integrate numerous theories into a single science dealing with nations. In 1918 he published his book National Idea in which he proved the necessity of establishing a separate social science dealing with the nation and for the first time used the term natiology.
