Once Upon a Time in Staten Island is an upcoming American drama film written and directed by James DeMonaco. It stars Naomi Watts, Frank Grillo, Bobby Cannavale, Jonah Hauer-King, and Cody Fairless-Lee.[1] Jason Blum is serving as a producer through his Blumhouse Productions banner and Sebastien Lemercier is producing through his Man in a Tree Productions banner.

Plot

In 1982, a teen named Anthony is on a quest in his town that swirls in his family members.

Production

On May 15, 2018, Blumhouse Productions and Man in a Tree Productions announced James DeMonaco would be directing a drama film with Naomi Watts, Frank Grillo and Bobby Cannavale starring in the film.[2] After a year-long casting call, it was later announced that newcomer Cody Fairless-Lee has been cast as Anthony.[3][4]

Filming

Principal photography began in May 2018.[5]
