OtherWorld Creations is an American game company that produces role-playing games and game supplements.

History

R. Hyrum Savage started the California RPG publisher OtherWorld Creations with Dave Webb, as one of many RPG publishers that got into business thanks to the d20 boom.[1]: 418  The company kicked off publication with Diomin, and the d20 licensing convinced Savage and his friends Chad Cunningham and Chris Miller to convert the setting to d20 and release it.[1]: 418  In 2004 Savage went to work for Upper Deck Entertainment, after OtherWorld Creations's production came to a halt when both their distributor Wizard's Attic and the d20 market collapsed.[1]: 418  Savage resurrected OtherWorld in 2006 by taking advantage of another OGL-like licensing opportunity.[1]: 418  In 2007, Savage formed a subsidiary of OtherWorld Creations with Stan Brown called Super Genius Games.[1]: 418  After OtherWorld Creations began updating their d20 books to the Pathfinder rules system in 2009, they brought on Owen K.C. Stephens as a Pathfinder line manager.[1]: 418
