Paora Tūhaere

Paora Tuhaere (born c1825, died 12 March 1892) was a leader of the New Zealand Māori iwi (tribe) of Ngāti Whātua. He was the nephew of Āpihai Te Kawau and became the acknowledged leader of the iwi when Te Kawau died[1] in 1869.
