History
The PAMVOUPRASIAKOS SPORTS GROUP VARDA , aka PAO Barda , is Football club founded in 1948 to Varda . The team colors are the green and white while the headquarters of the club is the stage "Gregory Kalakos" .
The Initial Name of the team was ASTERAS VARDA and the colors was crimson , black and white.The name changed to PAMVOUPRASIAKOS SPORTS GROUP VARDAS PAO Barda at 1958 .
PAO VARDAS for the first time in its history became Champion of Elis of 1991-1992 and won the promotion to Delta Ethniki. PAO VARDAS played in Delta Ethniki for seasons 2003-4 and 2004-5, and won the promotions to Gamma Ethniki, but the following year he was relegated and played season 2007-8 in Delta Ethniki. During 2008 - 09, after fruitless efforts to find a solution to the administrative problem of the group, announced that it will not participate in the league.
