Paléorient was a French journal which is dedicated to the prehistory of Near East and published in French, German and English.[1] It was first published in 1973[1] (ISSN 1957-701X).[2] It was based in Paris and the publisher was Association Paléorient.[1] Its frequency was annual until 1974 and from 1981 was published biannually.[1] The magazine folded in 2010.

This journal had a high rank[citation needed] among those studying Near Eastern prehistory.
