Palm Beach Day Academy is a coeducational independent day school located in Palm Beach and West Palm Beach, Florida, USA. An enrollment of over 500 students in pre-kindergarten 2 year olds to ninth grade is drawn from Palm Beach and West Palm Beach and the outlying communities as far south as Manalapan, as far west as Wellington and as far north as Jupiter.

History

Founded in 1921, Palm Beach Day Academy is the oldest incorporated independent school in Florida. Palm Beach Day Academy is incorporated as a non-sectarian, not-for-profit school. It has been a member of the National Association of Independent Schools since 1957 and is evaluated and accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools and the Florida Kindergarten Council. Palm Beach Day Academy is also one of the top schools in Florida, that strives for great education and values.

It was previously known as the Palm Beach Day School before it merged with the Academy of The Palm Beaches in 2007. Its current headmaster is Dr. Gordon. Its previous headmaster is Dr. Rebecca van der Bogert, who began her position as a replacement for Jack Thompson, who retired after the merging of the two schools.
