Palpara
Appearance
Palpara is a small village located in Nadia district in the state of West Bengal, India. It comes under Chakdaha municipality. The Palpara railway station is 59 km from Sealdah station. Palpara is famous for its 17th century Kali Temple which is now comes under The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI)[1].
Education
Palpara has one Secondary School, Palpara Vidyamandir and one HS School, Bhawanipur Sukanta Vidyaniketan.
Religion
The people are mostly Bengali Hindus, but notable number of Bengali Muslims live here. Christians are very less in numbers.

Culture
People are peace-loving. Durgapuja, Kali puja, Saraswati puja are widely celebrated. The Muslims celebrate Eid.
