Panagiotis Tsakalakos (in Greek Παναγιώτης Τσακαλάκος) (born in New Jersey, United States in c. 1978) a Greek-American singer and guitarist is the winner of the second series of Greek Idol. In the final held on 25 June 2011, he won with 53.8% of the public votes[1] against rival finalist Malou Kiriakopoulou (in Greek Μαλού Κυριακοπούλου). Soon after his win, he released his debut single "Poly mou paei" (in Greek "Πολύ Μου Πάει").

Panagiotis Tsakalakos parents went to the U.S. in the early 1970s where his father did graduate work at Northwestern. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Music.
