Pant or Panta/Pantha (Template:Lang-hi) (Template:Lang-ne) are a group of surnames which are prevalent in India and Nepal. Panta were part of Thar Ghar(थर घर) aristocracy which assisted the rulers of Gorkha Kingdom.[1]
