Paramecia was a non-mineralized Ediacaran alga with a differentiated, compartmentalized thallus; it probably had multiple phases in its lifecycle.[1] Possible reproductive structures have been identified.[1]

The term "paramecia" may also refer to multiple individual cells of the Paramecium genus.
