Pavel Golovachev

Pavel Yakovlevich Golovachev (December 15, 1917 – July 2, 1972) was a fighter pilot, flight commander, deputy commander of a squadron of the 9th Guards Fighter, Guards lieutenant, captain, ace with 18 confirmed kills during the Great Patriotic War, twice Hero of the Soviet Union and recipient of several other awards.[1]
