Pensacolops is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders), with only one species that occurs in Brazil.

Name

The genus name is derived from the salticid genus Pensacola and the Greek root -ops "to look like". The species name is from Latin rubrus "red" and vittatus "striped".
