Peter Žiga (born 27 July 1972) is a Slovak politician who has been the Minister of Economy in the Robert Fico's Third Cabinet since March 23, 2016.[1] Peter Žiga is member of the Direction - Social Democracy (slovak: SMER-SD) party.

2012 - 2016: Minister of the Environment of the Slovak Republic

2010 - 2012: Member of Parliament, National Council of the Slovak Republic

2006 - 2010: State Secretary, Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic
