Peter Andresen Oelrichs (26 February 1781, in Heligoland – 18 June 1869, in Amsterdam[1]) was a lexicographer and linguist.

He is the author of Snake Jim Hollunder.[2] A dictionary/lexicography translating the language spoken on the island of Heligoland into German, French and English.
