Peter Lupton (born 7 March 1982) in Whitehaven, England is a rugby league player for Workington Town in Championship 1 and formally of Crusaders in the Super League competition.

Whilst his position of choice is as at Loose forward, he can also play in a number of other positions. Whilst playing for Castleford and Crusaders he played Centre, Stand Off, Scrum Half, Second Row and Loose Forward.

Lupton has previously played for the London Broncos, Leeds and Hull.

Lupton was named in the Welsh preliminary squad for the 2011 Rugby League Four Nations. He qualifies to play for Wales based on residency.[1] He made his debut in a warm-up match against Ireland, but did not feature in the tournament.

In October 2013, Lupton played in the Rugby League World Cup.

In October 2014, Lupton captained Wales in the 2014 European Cup.[2]

In March 2015, Lupton signed for Barrow Raiders
