Peter Mikkelsen (born May 1, 1960 in Amager) is a retired football referee from Denmark. He refereed 5 matches in the FIFA World Cup, two in 1990 and three in 1994. He also refereed two UEFA European Football Championship tournaments in 1992 and in 1996.

Since 2008, Mikkelsen is working in the human resource department of the Danish company F-Group.
