Peters's threadsnake (Leptotyphlops scutifrons) is a species of snake in the family Leptotyphlopidae.[1][2][3] It widely distributed in Eastern and Southern Africa, from southern Tanzania south to Natal and west to Angola and Namibia.[1] Leptotyphlops pitmani and Leptotyphlops merkeri were formerly considered subspecies of this species but have now been elevated to full species status.[1]
