Phil Yates is a New Zealand game designer who has worked primarily on board games.
Career
Phil Yates has been wargaming since the early 1970s and designing games since the mid-1980s.[1] Yates is the lead games designer for Battlefront Miniatures, the New Zealand company where he designed the Flames of War miniatures game.[1] Yates has also written or co-authored more than a dozen Intelligence Handbooks and Battle and Campaign books for Flames of War.[1]
