Phoberopsis ferox is a species of Lasiocampidae moth native to Madagascar.[1]

The male have a wingspan of 70mm. Their head, antennae, palpi and front of thorax are of fiery orange colour, the legs and thorax black, the abdomen black ringend with pale orange. The wings are dull black without markings.[2]
