Pierluigi Crescenzi (a.k.a. Pilu Crescenzi) is a full professor of computer science at the University of Florence (Italy).[1] His research areas include theoretical computer science and computer science education.

Crescenzi is the co-author of textbooks in the fields of computational complexity, approximation algorithms, and programming.
