Major Pierre Delalande (sometimes called Paul Delalande) was a member of the French Corps of Engineers in the early days of World War II. He escaped to the United States after the German conquest of France in 1940. Major Delalande aided the Americans by providing plans for the French M-1939 bounding mine.
