The pine forest stream frog, Ptychohyla macrotympanum, is a species of frog in the Hylidae family found in Guatemala and possibly Mexico. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, rivers, and heavily degraded former forest. It is threatened by habitat loss.
