Point Pleasant–Byram Bridge
Appearance
The Point Pleasant-Byram Bridge opened in 1855,[1] crossed the Delaware River between Point Pleasant, Pennsylvania and Byram, New Jersey, United States, until it was swept away in the 1955 Delaware River floods. It was a private toll bridge until 1919, when the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission bought it.
