Political Geography is a bimonthly peer-reviewed academic journal published by Elsevier covering spatial dimensions of politics.[1] The current editor-in-chief is Philip Steinberg (Durham University).[2]

According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2014 impact factor of 2.676, ranking it 6th out of 161 journals in the category "Political Science" and 6th out of 76 journals in the category "Geography".[3]

History

The journal began as Political Geography Quarterly in 1982 (ISSN 0260-9827). It became a bimonthly magazine in 1992.[4]
