Poniszowice [pɔniʂɔˈvit͡sɛ] (formerly German Ponischowitz) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Rudziniec, within Gliwice County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Rudziniec, 21 km (13 mi) north-west of Gliwice, and 43 km (27 mi) north-west of the regional capital Katowice.

The village has a population of 529.
