Positive I.D. is a 1987 American crime film written and directed by Andy Anderson. The film stars Stephanie Rascoe Myers, John S. Davies, Steven Fromholz, Lauren Lane, Gail Cronauer and Matthew Sacks. The film was released on October 27, 1987, by Universal Pictures.[1][2][3]

Julie Kenner has been raped a year ago and is still psychologically suffering. She repels her husband, takes a lot of tranquillizers and is regularly seeing a psychiatrist. She accidentally learns that it's technically possible to assume the identity of a dead person and finds in this idea a way to recover. She will be most of the time a recovering Julie in front of her husband but also Bobbie King, a gorgeous red-haired woman from Florida, for the customers of Roy Mercer's bar downtown. Meanwhile, Dana, a charming neighbour takes care of her two little girls and of her...husband. One day, Julie learns that her rapist has been released from prison.

Superb performance of Stephanie Rascoe.
