The Praia Formosa is a beach on the Portuguese island of Madeira. It is also the fashionable district of Funchal and one of Europe's most visited summer locations.

Famous residents vary from Christopher Columbus, Merche Romero to Cristiano Ronaldo.

It is also home to one of Europe's biggest real estate commerce centre and it is known for its night clubs, cruise and beach resorts.
