The Pre-Teen Dirty-Gene Kung-Fu Kangaroos (or PDKK) was an American comic book created by Lee Marrs and published by Blackthorne Publishing. It ran during the 1980s, the first 3 issues were released August 1986.[1] and publication ended in January 1987.[2]
It was a parody of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,[3] substituting teenage with pre-teen, mutant with "dirty-gene", ninja with kung-fu and turtles with kangaroos.
Marrs also parodied another popular comic of the time, American Flagg! by Howard Chaykin, naming the kangaroos' irascible mentor "Rootin Slagg" after Chaykin's protagonist, Reuben Flagg.
