The Presbyterian Church El Redentor in Caracas decided to withdrawn from the Presbyterian Church of Venezuela in 1983. It become Pentecostal, but use the name Presbyterian. A small part of 60 people decided to not follow the move, and formed new congregation. The church had difficulties but later grew and has 2 congregations and runs schools.[1]
