The bagre de muzquiz or Mexican blindcat (Prietella phreatophila) is a species of North American freshwater catfish endemic to Mexico.
This fish is pinkish white in color and has no eyes. It grows up to 9.2 centimetres (3.6 in) in length. It lives only in Coahuila in the Rio Bravo drainage[1] where it is found in wells.[2] This species is threatened by pollution of the groundwater.[2]
