As a child Prince Ghazi was educated at [[Harrow School]] in the [[United Kingdom]]. He then went on to study at [[Princeton University]], [[New Jersey]], [[USA]], he graduated from there in 1988 with a BA. He returned to [[England]] to study at [[Trinity College, Cambridge|Trinity College]], [[University of Cambridge|Cambridge]], where he graduated in 1993 with a Ph.D in Literature.

==Career==

During his studies Ghazi joined the Royal Jordanian Desert Police in November, 1989 as a 2nd lieutenant, in 1992 he was promoted to a full lieutenant, he resigned from that post in 1992 and joined the ADC which is attached to the Royal Hashemite Court in 1993 and in 1997 he was promoted to Hon. Lieutenant-Colonel. Also in 1994 till 2003 he was Cultural Secretary to [[Hussein of Jordan|King Hussein]] and [[King Abdullah II of Jordan|King Abduallah]] of Jordan and also advisor for Tribal Affairs to both King's from 1998 till 2003. Since 2003 he has been the Personal Envoy and Special Advisor to King Abdullah with the rank of Minister. He also was Regent of Jordan during the King's absences from Jordan in 2004.
