Professorial Lecturer is an alternative term for part-time professors[clarification needed] at certain prestigious[clarification needed] universities such as the London School of Economics, the George Washington University, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. The title of the professorial lecturer is used by institutions for professors who do not pursue teaching as their full-time profession but and have expertise in their respective fields.
