Pygarctia pterygostigma is a moth in the Arctiidae family. It was described by Dyar in 1909. It is found in Mexico,[1] New Mexico and southern Texas.[2]

The wingspan is about 28 mm. The forewings are grey with a yellowish-white mark. Adults are on wing from June to September.[3]
